This talk by Ted Carns will cover his book, Off on Our Own, in which he will discuss his experience living off the grid alongside his wife, Kathy. This program was originally scheduled for the 2024 Historic Photo Show, however, we unfortunately had to postpone the event at that time.

Carns has traveled the world and experienced many cultures and ways of living, but has decided to settle down right here in the Laurel Highlands - off the grid. He and his wife are able to use phones, and TVs, grow their own food, and make their own wine, all without plugging into the power grid.
