Local author and illustrator Lori VanKirk Schue has written the book, "The Tree of Hope" and will have a Book Reading and Signing at the MONESSEN PUBLIC LIBRARY on Saturday Dec. 14th at 11 am. The book is a story hope and joy and was inspired by the appearance of a small Christmas tree in a field bringing a community together. A simple yet lesson-filled book coupled with imaginative illustrations, this book will help children of all ages understand the joy, comfort, and hope of a simple act of kindness. The event is open to the public.
