Enjoy a pleasurable afternoon at the library with a Movie Matinee! In this new series, we’ll explore Movie Musicals Through the Ages with a different film each month. In October, we’ll watch 1943’s “Stormy Weather,” featuring Lena Horne. Based loosely on Bill “Bojangles” Robinson’s true life, this film showcases some of the biggest and most talented Black performers of the era. Refreshments will be served.
