Everyone needs a reading buddy! Penn Area Library has ocean friends that are looking for their forever home. These special ocean friends do not need food and water like most pets, in fact, they only need one thing, to be read to for 15 minutes a day! After children pick out a stuffed friend from the treasure chest, they will design a name tag, and create a matching friendship bracelet set. This fin-tastic event helps to encourage reading confidence in children ages 3 – 9.
