Meet artist, Betty Trout at the Murrysville Library. On Tuesday, March 29 at 6pm, she will talk about her exploration of color and what she hopes to achieve in her paintings. She will bring additional pieces of art to the reception. In the part two years, she began painting "en plein air" or "in the open air" with a group that she regularly paints with throughout the year. This is a very challenging setting to paint in because of the ever-changing light and the need to work quickly. Since entering the Western Pennsylvania art community in 2016, memberships and classes have opened doors to new opportunities and friendships.
