The Junior Division is open to players in grades K to 4. Players are asked to bring a chess set, if possible. Chess books, computers, or any other assistance is not permitted during tournament play. In order to complete first round pairings in advance, call the library at 724-327-1102 to register by the deadline of Thursday, February 28 or online at www.murrysvillelibrary.org. Register for only one Westmoreland County library's tournament. First, Second, and Third place winners in each division will be awarded trophies. Doors will open at 9:00 a.m. and tournament play will begin at 9:30 a.m. until rounds are completed.
