This mini-music appreciation course, for ages 12 years and up, offered in four class sessions, is designed to introduce people to the world of classical music or serve as a refresher course for those somewhat knowledgeable about classical music. It explores the four basic periods of classical music, Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Contemporary. The instructor is Morrie Brand, Director of the Westmoreland Symphony's Academy of Music and Music Director of the Westmoreland Youth Symphony Orchestra Program. Registration includes all four class sessions.
