Please bring stories about ancestors who helped build America in the mines from 1870 to 1920. The discussion will include the mines themselves, the pattern of immigration of the workers, the story of the strikes and the arrival of the Pinkertons and the Coal and Coke Police. Come to listen, but please consider sharing your family legends and artifacts, like photos, pay stubs, or small equipment. This is part one of four meetings.
